Patiala, August 23: Punjab’s educational fraternity received national acclaim as Dinesh Kumar of Government Victoria Girls Senior Secondary School was named a recipient of the National Teachers’ Award 2026. The national honor recognizes his quarter-century of public service and his pioneering efforts to make Physics accessible through interactive laboratory learning and simplified instructional techniques.
The selection received high praise from state authorities, with Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains declaring the achievement a matter of immense pride for the entire teaching community. The minister stated that such teaching practices serve as an inspiration for educators across the state, underscoring Punjab’s ongoing progress in public education.
