Jaipur, August 30: Candidates appearing for the NEET-PG examination in Jaipur staged a demonstration on Sunday after technical glitches caused repeated interruptions during the online test. The incident was reported at two iON Digital Zone facilities situated in Sitapura, where candidates experienced delays in the test start time followed by unexpected terminal shutdowns.
Aspirants stated that computer screens turned off multiple times while questions were being attempted, with only limited content loading upon system reboot before further disruptions occurred. Protesting candidates expressed dissatisfaction over the lack of immediate clarification from center administrators regarding the cause of the technical errors.
Demonstrators highlighted concerns over test fairness and requested an official assessment of the administrative and technical setup. They maintained that prolonged preparation efforts for career-defining medical postgraduate exams require dependable examination systems.
Local administrative authorities and police officers reached the site to manage the crowd. ACP Jaipur South Lalit Sharma declared that police forces were stationed at the venue to preserve law and order while candidates communicated their concerns to exam coordinators.
