The joint representation to ISRO Chairman V Narayanan asserted that staff members require official documentation detailing how the ongoing structural shifts will impact active personnel and future public sector hiring. The letter noted that while private sector participation has grown significantly since the government opened research, development, and launch capabilities six years ago, formal internal directives regarding workforce transition timelines have not yet been distributed.
The association highlighted that the operational shift is already visible across multiple projects, with technology transfers and infrastructure integration gaining momentum across the industry. Representatives stated that public announcements regarding the complete handover of launch vehicle production and satellite assembly to commercial partners have created a need for clear administrative frameworks. The employee leadership declared that clear communications regarding the phasing of these reforms will foster confidence and ensure operational continuity as the organization adapts to its evolving mandate in deep space research and advanced scientific endeavors.
