Chandigarh, Oct 13: In a major administrative push toward resolving long-standing demands, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann assured a high-level delegation of Sikh representatives and farmer leaders that the Punjab Government stands firmly in support of justice for the Bandi Singhs. Addressing delegates including Sant Sewa Singh, Bhai Mohkam Singh, and Boota Singh Burjgil, the Chief Minister affirmed that the AAP administration will not act as an obstacle and is working with full urgency to achieve a meaningful resolution within the legal framework.

The Chief Minister appealed to participating organizations to keep their movement strictly peaceful and within constitutional bounds, warning that disruptive elements frequently attempt to derail such campaigns. Regarding convicts lodged in Chandigarh’s Burail Jail, CM Mann affirmed that his administration would actively coordinate with the Union Territory’s administration to review their cases humanely. Senior officials, including Chief Secretary KAP Sinha and the Special DGP for Law and Order, attended the deliberations to streamline legal and administrative procedures moving forward.
