Chandigarh, Oct 21:Long-term detainee Balwant Singh Rajoana arrived at PGI Chandigarh under tight security arrangements for scheduled medical evaluations overseen by institutional specialists
The former police constable, currently held in Patiala Central Jail in connection with the historical assassination case of former Chief Minister Beant Singh, was brought to the medical center specifically for the diagnosis and treatment of his second eye. Representatives noted that previous medical intervention had successfully addressed vision issues in his first eye.
Security personnel maintained strict perimeter control throughout the hospital visit as medical professionals completed the necessary clinical examinations before returning the inmate to custody.
