Ayodhya, October 27: The Ayodhya district administration has launched comprehensive preparation checks to ensure Deepotsav 2026 is conducted with dignity, safety, and operational efficiency.
Following directions from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, District Magistrate Shashank Tripathi and SSP Dr. Gaurav Grover led a strategic meeting with local public representatives and leading saints at Tulsi Udyan Bhawan. The discussion focused on enhancing devotee convenience, optimizing traffic flow, and managing venue lighting and municipal cleanliness.
Participating religious leaders highlighted the cultural significance of the annual festival and recommended conducting extensive post-event sanitation operations to maintain the holy city’s religious sanctity. They also proposed installing directional signage and tourist maps throughout the municipality to aid incoming pilgrims.
Public representatives, including Mayor Girishpati Tripathi and MLA Ved Prakash Gupta, pledged complete administrative alignment. District Magistrate Tripathi assured stakeholders that departmental plans are being updated based on the meeting’s outcomes to guarantee a secure and seamless experience for all visitors.
