Gurugram, Nov 3: The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority has finalized plans to construct three major traffic projects costing Rs 136.41 crore to alleviate congestion across high-density corridors.

The decision was maintained during a committee review led by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini in Chandigarh. The project package focuses on upgrading infrastructure at Ambedkar Chowk, Dadi Sati Chowk, and the Millennium City Centre Metro Station.

Financial details indicate an expenditure of Rs 57 crore for the underpass near the metro station, while the flyovers at Dadi Sati Chowk and Ambedkar Chowk are allocated Rs 43.05 crore and Rs 36.36 crore respectively.

Authorities declared that the six-lane flyover planned for New Gurugram will facilitate smoother movement across Sectors 85–86 and 89–90. The project includes dedicated service lanes, footpaths, and U-turns under the flyover structure, with construction slated for completion within 18 months of allotment.
