Zira, Nov 5:Financial investigation officials conducted a detailed inspection at the Zira residence of suspended revenue official Navdeep Singh on Thursday morning, marking another step in ongoing enforcement actions across the region. The search closely followed similar investigative steps directed at political representatives, including AAP legislator Dr Amandeep Kaur Arora.
A team of central agency personnel established a security perimeter at the residence early in the morning to allow officials to audit personal accounts and property files. Singh, who had been suspended from revenue duties following a case registered at Dharamkot police station in June 2024, was present as officers conducted the search.
The official had previously been released on bail from Faridkot jail in July 2026. Authorities maintained that the scope of the present examination remains centered on verifying financial ledgers and document trails, with formal details regarding the search outcomes expected upon completion of the verification process.
