Chandigarh, Nov 4:The Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann organized a job distribution event in Mohali on Tuesday, handing over appointment letters to 801 candidates across various departments. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister declared that state recruitment drives continue to prioritize merit and transparency, offering sustainable employment opportunities to youth from ordinary families.
Addressing broader state development initiatives, Chief Minister Mann highlighted key administrative achievements across the agriculture and education sectors. He noted that canal irrigation capacity has been expanded to deliver nearly 18,000 cusecs of surface water to agricultural fields, helping recharge local groundwater levels across several districts. He reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to strengthening sports infrastructure and expanding public welfare programs across the state.
