Chandigarh, Sept 29: Federal authorities in the United States have unsealed indictments exposing the global operational structure of the criminal network headed by Lawrence Bishnoi, offering a reward of up to $1 million for key lieutenant Goldy Brar.
The disclosures describe how Bishnoi transitioned from university student leadership to heading an international enterprise, utilizing online media and specific public positioning to expand recruitment. FBI officials stated that operational control was maintained through contraband communication tools, enabling the coordination of extortions, violent acts, and illicit trafficking across international borders.
According to the federal filing, the syndicate engaged in extensive violent activities, including targeted shootings in Canada and multi-hundred-kilogram narcotics seizures from rival groups in the Los Angeles area. US law enforcement authorities affirmed that Brar executed directives on behalf of Bishnoi across North America prior to the group’s formal designation as a terrorist entity by Canadian authorities in late 2025.
The findings form part of comprehensive legal proceedings involving 37 defendants linked to India-based transnational organizations, with federal agencies maintaining search efforts for designated fugitive figures.
