Lucknow, Sept 29: Former bureaucrat Divya Mittal has declared her foray into politics, choosing to build an independent movement in Uttar Pradesh rather than aligning with established political outfits.
Mittal, hailing from Rewari, stated in a video message that she intends to stay rooted in Uttar Pradesh to advocate for public concerns. She maintained that her initiative aims to shift the focus of regional politics toward core issues such as school facilities, local infrastructure, youth employment, and agrarian challenges.
The announcement outlines a clear path following her resignation from the administrative services, which was formally accepted in September. Officials noted her administrative track record across districts like Deoria and Mirzapur, where she frequently interacted with public grievance redressal mechanisms.
Refuting earlier allegations regarding her brief and interactions with political figures during her tenure, Mittal affirmed her commitment to creating an accessible organization, sharing a contact framework for citizens seeking to engage with her independent platform.
