CM Reviews Gurugram Civil Hospital Project

Chandigarh, December 24: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini reviewed the development of a 700-bed Civil Hospital in Gurugram, emphasizing improved healthcare infrastructure for the city.

The hospital, set to be constructed in Civil Lines, will span 7.73 acres and cost approximately ₹990 crore. The 13-story facility will feature 60 ICU beds, 12 operation theatres, and a helipad for emergency services. The meeting included Union Minister of State Rao Inderjit Singh, Health Minister Kumari Aarti Singh Rao, and other senior officials.

Additional Chief Secretary of the Health Department, Sudhir Rajpal, briefed on the project’s progress and recommended relocating a nearby government school to a 2.5-acre site to better accommodate future hospital needs. The Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure timely execution and seamless incorporation of critical facilities.
