Mansa, Oct 18: The Lawyers for Human Rights International filed the petition with the Mansa administration and the District Child Protection Unit after video clips from the “Sign to God World Tour” hologram concert in Toronto circulated widely online. Reports indicated that the child was seen making hand gestures imitating a gun while performing on stage with his family.
The group declared that exposure to violence-associated symbolism at an early age requires official review, asserting that counseling should be offered to the parents. They also requested guidance to ensure children are not encouraged to repeat similar gestures in public settings.
In response to the filing, counsel representing Balkaur Singh and Charan Kaur affirmed that the family has not received any formal legal communication regarding the matter. The advocate declared that the parents hold full authority and rights over the upbringing and care of their child, dismissing claims of improper influence during the memorial event.
