Goa, October 20: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that the extraordinary coordination among India’s three armed services compelled Pakistan to surrender during Operation Sindoor. He made the remarks while celebrating Diwali with navy personnel on board INS Vikrant off the coast of Goa.

The PM, who left for Goa on Sunday evening, was welcomed aboard INS Vikrant, where he visited the Flightdeck surrounded by MiG-29 fighters. He witnessed a live demonstration of the navy’s air power, including the takeoff and landing of MiG-29 jets on a short runway.

During his visit, Modi also attended a vibrant cultural programme staged by officers and sailors, which included patriotic songs and a composition specially written to commemorate the success of the armed forces in Operation Sindoor.

Sources said the Prime Minister’s visit was planned discreetly to maintain operational security and allow close interaction with the navy personnel during the festive occasion.
