Hisar, March 5: The Union Public Service Commission has placed Hisar resident Rahul Pattar at the 379th position in its final merit list for the 2025 Civil Services. Rahul, who hails from Bithmara village, transitioned from an engineering background to the administrative field following his graduation from Delhi Technological University.

Rajesh Pattar, Rahul’s father and a local businessman, declared that the achievement is a result of his son’s focused preparation over the last few years. He affirmed that Rahul chose to bypass job offers after his BTech to dedicate himself entirely to the UPSC curriculum.

The candidate’s mother, Usha Devi, and the rest of the Pattar family stated that the second-attempt success has brought significant joy to their household. Despite the successful result, the family asserted that Rahul remains ambitious and is considering another attempt to secure a higher rank within the service.

Community leaders in Hisar maintained that Rahul’s journey from Jindal Modern School to the national civil services serves as a testament to the academic talent in the region. They stated that his dedication to public service, rather than a corporate career, provides a positive example for other engineering graduates in the state.
