Bathinda, OCT 13: Law enforcement authorities in Punjab have arrested an accomplice who allegedly facilitated the escape of the prime accused following the fatal shooting of anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhota.
Addressing the media, Bathinda Range DIG Harjeet Singh stated that the targeted attack was rooted in an old personal enmity that first surfaced during a confrontation three years ago in 2023.
Police teams tracking the suspects immediately after the morning incident have detained several family members for interrogation. Officials confirmed that a licensed weapon was used in the crime, and coordinated operations are ongoing across the region to ensure the swift capture of the main accused and bring all conspirators to justice.
