Ludhiana, Nov 8— Punjab Police recovered four pistols, a revolver, and several live cartridges from two men arrested on Saturday, including one allegedly linked to the Khalistan Liberation Force.
DGP Gaurav Yadav said the weapons included a foreign-made PX5 .30 caliber pistol, a .45 caliber pistol, a .32 caliber pistol, another .30 caliber pistol, and a revolver. “Further investigation is underway to expose the full nexus, including backward and forward linkages of the network,” he said.
Police sources said both suspects were also wanted in a murder case and were under surveillance for their suspected connection with handlers operating from abroad. Officials described the arrests as a “significant step” toward curbing trans-border weapon smuggling and terror financing in Punjab.
