Addressing a gathering of NDA leaders, the Prime Minister stated that the administration prioritizes rural prosperity and will ensure that trade frameworks actively support domestic cultivators. The assurances came amid march calls organized by farming groups from northern states regarding international trade negotiations.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju affirmed that the Prime Minister’s address reflected the government’s unwavering dedication to the farming sector. Rijiju maintained that Free Trade Agreements executed by the Centre contain built-in protections meant to safeguard local produce while opening positive economic avenues. He declared that official policies will consistently uphold the economic stability of agricultural households across the country.
