Sri Anandpur Sahib: The Aam Aadmi Party strengthened its presence in the Sri Anandpur Sahib assembly segment as a group of Congress functionaries and workers from Nanowal village officially entered the party fold. Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains received the group, expressing confidence that their inclusion would further bolster public welfare programs across rural pockets.
Speaking on behalf of the group, the new entrants declared that the state administration’s focus on basic infrastructure and accessible governance encouraged them to switch alignments. They asserted that administrative platforms like the Jindwari Lok Milni demonstrated the government’s readiness to address ground-level issues promptly.
Several ongoing public works have transformed connectivity in the constituency, including critical bridge constructions and essential irrigation access for farming communities in the Changer region. Work on the Nangal-Kiratpur Sahib four-lane highway project continues to move forward to improve regional trade and everyday travel.
Addressing the gathering, Harjot Singh Bains maintained that the core objective of the administration is to serve every citizen equitably. He asserted that constructive politics relies on harmony and steady progress, adding that the momentum of village-level development projects will increase by engaging all sections of society.
The incoming party workers declared their intent to bring welfare schemes directly to doorstep levels, with Bains reaffirming that the party maintains full respect for all dedicated volunteers striving for regional progress.
