Mohali, Feb 19: MLA Kulwant Singh declared that Mohali will soon emerge as the top urban center in North India during an interaction with the media on February 19. Addressing the newly elected team of the Mohali Industry Association, the legislator maintained that the state government is prioritizing the completion of road networks linking industrial zones to major arteries like Airport Road.

The MLA stated that the ongoing construction of numerous intersections across the city is designed to create an open and accessible urban environment. He affirmed that these structural changes are part of a broader vision to address traffic problems and modernize the city’s layout.

He also noted that the current administration has simplified the process for industrial requirements, allowing entrepreneurs to apply for and receive permissions through digital platforms.

Congratulating the team led by MIA President Ashok Gupta, the legislator affirmed his confidence in their ability to bridge the gap between the industry and the government. He maintained that the collective efforts of the association and the state authorities would ensure that the grievances of the industrial sector are addressed with urgency.

The function saw participation from several prominent local figures, including Rakesh Bij, Jaspal Singh Matour, and other members of the industrial body. The MLA asserted that the synergy between infrastructure development and industry-friendly policies will be the driving force behind Mohali’s growth.
