NEW DELHI, Sept 26 — Expressing focus over public perception surrounding constitutional processes, major constituents of the National Democratic Alliance stated that the Election Commission should provide a comprehensive clarification on recent administrative discussions.
The collective call by the Telugu Desam Party, Lok Janshakti Party (RV), and Rashtriya Lok Manch follows public discourse surrounding the Special Intensive Revision of voter records.
Addressing the issue, LJP (RV) chief Chirag Paswan maintained that institutional transparency helps sustain foundational confidence in democratic institutions. He asserted that the Commission should speak directly to the citizenry to dispel emerging narratives, emphasizing that public faith in the electoral framework must remain unshakeable.
Adding to the perspective, Rashtriya Lok Manch leader Upendra Kushwaha declared that prompt official communication would effectively counter widespread confusion regarding electoral operations, urging the poll panel to set the record straight immediately.
TDP leader Lavu Srikrishna Devarayalu affirmed the overall success of the roll revision exercise in Andhra Pradesh, declaring that official responses from constitutional safeguards help fortify democratic institutions against unfounded skepticism.
