Amritsar, Sept 20: Police teams have intensified search operations across suspected hideouts to apprehension the second suspect linked to the killing of Assistant Sub-Inspector Harjit Singh.
The suspect fled the spot after an exchange of fire near a police checkpoint resulted in the death of his associate, Deepak Singh. Officials stated that both individuals were traced through a combination of visual inputs, technical data, and local intelligence following the incident near the Bhagtanwala grain market earlier this week.
Authorities have deployed specialized chasing units to seal potential escape routes while forensic examination of seized items—including a firearm, ammunition, and mobile equipment—remains underway to trace operational leads and locate the remaining suspect.
