SEOUL, Dec. 10 — Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Tuesday underlined Punjab’s push for technology-led and innovation-driven growth as he invited South Korean companies to expand operations in the state.

Speaking at an investor roadshow, Mann detailed governance reforms aimed at simplifying business processes, including the FastTrack Punjab single-window system that provides 173 services, automatic deemed approvals, PAN-based business identifiers and new provisions under the Punjab Right to Business Act for time-bound clearances.

“We want to build long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships with South Korean industry,” he said. “Punjab is ready for deeper collaboration across priority sectors.”

Mann said the state’s commitment to transparent regulation and industry-friendly policies was intended to create an environment where South Korean firms could innovate and expand with confidence.

According to the official note, Korean companies responded positively and showed interest in exploring investment opportunities in Punjab.
