CHANDIGARH — Addressing a press conference in Chandigarh on Thursday, Punjab Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian responded to recent political commentary and central agency activities targeting his extended family.
Mundian stated that opposition claims regarding his departure from the state were completely false, affirming his active presence in the state capital. Detailing the recent search operation at his nephew’s residence, the Minister maintained that the prolonged questioning of family members served no investigative purpose, as official records provided upon conclusion confirmed no significant recoveries. He asserted that attempts to create political leverage through family harassment reflect desperation on the part of opposition political entities unable to build genuine public traction.
Reaffirming his loyalty to AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Mundian declared that public representatives from Punjab cannot be swayed by external pressure tactics, maintaining that the party will continue serving the state with complete dedication.
