Ayodhya, Nov 6: Extensive healthcare preparations have been activated across Ayodhya to support the massive gathering of pilgrims expected for Deepotsav 2026. Administration officials asserted that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath guided the formulation of the security and health strategy, which combines stationing emergency transport at major gathering points with dedicated hospital capacity across the city.
Ambulances have been posted at 12 primary hubs—ranging from Hanumangarhi and Kanak Bhawan to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi and Lata Mangeshkar Chowk—allowing medical personnel to respond swiftly to any health emergency. Furthermore, active mobile medical units are operating on fixed shifts day and night around Ram Ki Paidi to deliver immediate care on-site before transferring patients if further clinical intervention is needed.
To handle potential surges, 12 regional medical institutions, including Jhunjhunwala Hospital, Medicity Superspeciality Hospital, and Nirmala Hospital, have earmarked five emergency beds each. District Magistrate Shashank Tripathi stated that inter-departmental coordination remains tight to guarantee rapid treatment, adding that attendees can readily access help through designated emergency contacts and mela health officers.
