New Delhi, March 25: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has moved to calm public anxiety by declaring that there is no scarcity of petroleum products in the country. The state-owned entity affirmed on Wednesday that India remains in a strong position regarding its fuel security, noting that the country produces more petrol and diesel than it consumes domestically.
The retailer asserted that all operational units are working at full capacity to ensure that every region receives its required supply. According to the statement, the current inventory includes robust levels of crude oil and finished fuels, which are being moved through the distribution network without any recorded disruptions.
“India has ample fuel reserves and supply chains are running normally,” the company declared. BPCL maintained that the infrastructure is fully prepared to handle consistent demand and urged the public not to engage in unnecessary bulk purchasing. The official statement further affirmed that the logistics for aviation turbine fuel are also operating smoothly.
The government-run retailer stated that the public should remain calm despite the fluctuations seen in international oil markets. BPCL asserted that it is dedicated to maintaining a steady supply and requested that consumers follow information provided by authorized sources. Officials maintained that the situation on the ground remains stable and that there is no cause for concern regarding fuel availability at retail outlets.
