Chandigarh, Oct 6: AAP Punjab Media In-charge Baltej Pannu on Monday issued a stern response to Shiromani Akali Dal leader Virsa Singh Valtoha over ongoing political exchanges and allegations involving an SGPC sarai stay by a Bahrain-based woman. Reaffirming his commitment to respectful language learned from his family and teachers, Pannu stated he would not resort to personal insults but held comprehensive evidence to address all questions.
Pannu focused on key irregularities surrounding the woman’s prolonged stay, questioning the provision of SGPC vehicles, attendants, and direct money transfers to her bank account. Dismissing Valtoha’s claim that a viral audio recording was generated via AI, Pannu urged him to initiate formal legal proceedings so a forensic evaluation could verify the recording’s authenticity.
He also highlighted the four-and-a-half-year legal battle during which he was acquitted of a 2015 case registered under the Akali regime, cautioning that he could expose the specific figures behind those proceedings if personal attacks persisted.
“If you believe it is AI-generated, take legal action and let a forensic examination establish the truth. But tomorrow, do not start claiming that the Bahrain woman, the FIR, the sarai room, the vehicle, the sevadars, and the SGPC records were also created by AI,” declared Baltej Pannu.
Pannu concluded by urging senior leadership, including SAD chief Sukhbir Singh Badal and SGPC President Harjinder Singh Dhami, to address the public on institutional records and resolve questions raised by young leaders like Rup Kaur Sandhu.
“I have always maintained the dignity of my language because that is the education I received. I will listen to the other side and respond, but I will not abandon that dignity,” affirmed Pannu.
