New Delhi, July 23: Students assembling at Jantar Mantar received an unexpected delivery of 150 Farmhouse Cheese Burst pizzas courtesy of an individual in Nagaland, highlighting nationwide attention surrounding the current youth demonstrations in the capital. The donor, Dielhi Dienu, coordinated the logistics online to provide hot meals to those gathering at the protest grounds.
Explaining his motivations, Dienu noted that watching news coverage of students camping out in Delhi made it difficult to remain passive at home.
“Tonight, I couldn’t enjoy my own dinner with the grief that I couldn’t be there in the protest, and my fellow brothers and sisters are there starving,” Dielhi Dienu declared.
He affirmed that remote contributions offer a tangible way to stand alongside students seeking institutional fairness.
“I’m sitting here in Nagaland, while thousands of students are at Jantar Mantar, far away from home, fighting for what they believe is a better future and a fairer education system,” Dienu maintained. “I couldn’t be there with them, so this was the least I could do.”
The delivery driver tasked with delivering the 67,000-rupee consignment contacted Dienu upon arrival to locate the designated drop-off point. Dienu requested that the delivery team simply walk into the crowd and offer the food to anyone who had gone without a meal.
Reflecting on the interaction, Dienu affirmed that small acts of assistance help maintain morale among young people advocating for educational policy reforms.
