10 August, Shimla: Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today launched the state’s first OTT platform, HV Cinema, which is developed by Himachal Pradesh-based production house Himalayan Velocity in Shimla.

Sukhu applauded the company’s efforts to develop this platform. The company’s Managing Director, Pushpraj Thakur, was also present.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister released ‘Nashe Se Tum Door Raho’, a song composed by Shimla-based social activist Taruna Mishra to raise awareness against synthetic substances. He praised Taruna Mishra’s efforts and stated that the state government had implemented numerous programs to raise awareness about the dangers of drug usage. He urged young people to avoid drugs in order to build a constructive and healthy society.
He stated that social activists and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) may complement the government’s efforts to awaken society. He emphasized that everyone in society should take action to confront the drug threat.
