Gurugram, November 6: Tesla India Motors and Energy Private Limited is set to open its first Experience Centre in Gurugram as part of its national rollout, company representatives informed Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini on Thursday.
A Tesla delegation, led by South-East Asia director Isabel Fan, met Saini in Chandigarh to invite him to the inauguration of the new centre and discuss potential investment opportunities in Haryana.
Following the meeting, Saini said the state government would extend all possible assistance if Tesla decided to set up a manufacturing facility in Haryana. “The state’s automotive and industrial ecosystem provides a strong foundation for global companies like Tesla,” he said.
Tesla has leased around 51,000 square feet of space at Orchid Business Park on Sohna Road for a nine-year term at a starting rent of ₹40.17 lakh per month. The Gurugram centre follows the company’s Experience Centres launched in Mumbai and Delhi earlier this year.
Gurugram is already home to several leading automobile manufacturers, including Maruti Suzuki, along with component suppliers and logistics hubs, making it a key automotive corridor in northern India.
