Ambala, May 24: A triple homicide stemming from a prolonged financial conflict over rural land resources has prompted a multi-agency manhunt in Haryana’s Ambala district, senior police administrators affirmed.
The fatal shooting took place in Bichpari village under the jurisdiction of the Shahzadpur police station. Police tracking records indicate that the family had been locked in a bitter dispute regarding the revenues and logistics of a local soil excavation operation. The confrontation turned violent when a young family member, Abhishek, allegedly targeted his immediate relatives with a firearm, killing his grandmother instantly and mortally wounding his brother and uncle.
The state’s judicial and enforcement apparatus responded by deploying forensic experts and tactical units to intercept the fleeing perpetrator.
“While three people have died, one is undergoing treatment at GMCH-32,” local police authorities reported, confirming that security cordons have been established around the perimeter of the village to assist ongoing investigations.
The narrative surrounding the tragedy highlights the rapid deterioration of domestic disputes when firearms are involved. While two of the wounded victims—Sandeep and Mahinder—passed away prior to clinical admission, emergency surgeons in Chandigarh are currently working to stabilize the fourth victim, Sunita. High-ranking district officers arrived at the scene to reassure local residents, maintaining that multiple operational teams are utilizing digital surveillance and localized intelligence networks to ensure the suspect is brought into custody.
