Chandigarh, June 25: The ongoing public outreach initiatives by the state government have triggered widespread nervousness within opposition camps, leading to a coordinated campaign of misinformation, AAP leader Baltej Pannu announced on Thursday. Speaking to media personnel, the General Secretary Organisation reordered the narrative surrounding recent political developments by showcasing the original footage of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s public interactions to discredit a fabricated video clip being circulated online.
The leader asserted that the joint efforts by traditional parties to disrupt governance reflect their lack of a futuristic vision for the state. He declared that while the current administration continues to honor its key guarantees, including the provision of uninterrupted free domestic electricity, opposition leaders are relying on media manipulation to remain relevant.
“Women will receive three months’ assistance together in the first installment,” Baltej Pannu stated while discussing the upcoming financial support program. “The government has made complete budgetary provisions for the scheme.” He added that this specific development has alarmed political rivals, noting, “They are desperately trying to create confusion and somehow stop this scheme because they know that after its implementation, they will have no political ground left to stand on.”
The discourse turned to the details of the digital manipulation, where the spokesperson maintained that the opposition deliberately distorted an innocent conversation between the Chief Minister and rural women in Fatehgarh Sahib. He affirmed that such tactics are a direct response to the large public gatherings regularly attending executive meetings across the state.
“No matter how many fake videos they create, they cannot stop the people of Punjab from recognizing the truth,” Pannu declared. “The women of Punjab understand who is working for their welfare and who is trying to deprive them of their rights.”
The briefing concluded with the assertion that the public has consistently chosen development over divisive strategies. The spokesperson maintained that the administration remains focused on its governance model, ensuring that all budgetary allocations for public centric schemes are fully secured and systematically delivered to the rightful beneficiaries without administrative delays.
