VARANASI, OCT 15: Accenting the vital role of sanitation personnel in fulfilling the nationwide cleanliness mission, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath honored municipal workers during a special public felicitation event in Varanasi. The event celebrated local cleanliness initiatives, including the successful 76-day ward outreach campaign led by local representatives to promote public health, environmental awareness, and the distribution of welfare benefits.

Speaking on regional governance, the Chief Minister emphasized that community awareness remains essential for preserving public infrastructure and maintaining civic hygiene. He contrasted the city’s current spiritual and developmental radiance with its prior condition before 2017, pointing out how sustained administrative efforts have replaced chronic congestion and infrastructural decay with modernized public spaces.

The leadership reiterated that reclaimed land previously seized by criminal elements will exclusively serve public welfare projects, ensuring housing for the underprivileged. Furthermore, the administration stressed the importance of responsive public representation, urging leaders to remain actively connected with their constituents while advancing inclusive development across all sectors.
