Chandigarh, July 6: Recently launched film ‘Satluj’ has been made unavailable in India just two days after its official release. ZEE5, the digital platform hosting the movie, confirmed the pause in streaming while validating the massive initial response from subscribers who tuned in for the premiere on July 3.

Reflecting on the initial reception, the service expressed immense appreciation for the public engagement that accumulated immediately after the debut. The official statement affirmed, “The response to Satluj since its release has been truly overwhelming. We are deeply grateful to every viewer who chose to subscribe, watch and champion the film.”

The streaming service explained that the temporary suspension stems from ongoing administrative updates, promising a systematic effort to resume access for Indian viewers as soon as possible. It declared, “Our commitment to creators and to stories told with conviction, artistic integrity and purpose remains unwavering.”

The platform further clarified that it is working within established legal frameworks to address the situation. It stated, “We remain committed to exploring every appropriate avenue through due process to bring the film back to our audiences at the earliest opportunity.”

The star-studded film has been a subject of careful administrative review for nearly three years, having first entered the official certification pipeline in 2022 under its former title, ‘Punjab 95’. While the project underwent several structural revisions and title adjustments to align with regulatory frameworks, it finally achieved a digital release last week. The cinematic narrative features notable performances by Diljit Dosanjh, Arjun Rampal, Kanwaljit Singh, Suvinder Vicky, and Geetika Vidya Ohlyan.
