Kapurthala, August 6: A high-impact road collision in Punjab’s Kapurthala district claimed the lives of two individuals and left another critically injured after a moving SUV veered off course overnight.
The impact tore through the iron boundary wall of an educational institution near Sawal village before coming to a halt against a tree trunk, leaving vehicle debris scattered across the thoroughfare.
“Emergency teams shifted the injured occupants to the Civil Hospital immediately after receiving information,” declared local police authorities, maintaining that exact causes will be verified following detailed technical assessments.
Hospital officials confirmed that two male passengers passed away from collision impact, while a 23-year-old female victim continues to receive intensive medical care following preliminary treatment.
