Chandigarh, August 6: A brazen daylight ambush outside the City Police Station in Charkhi Dadri left seven men injured on Thursday following a violent confrontation between rival groups.
The assailants arrived on a motorcycle and unleashed a hail of gunfire at a black SUV carrying occupants from different districts of Haryana.
“A comprehensive investigation is underway to establish the exact motive behind the attack and apprehend those responsible,” stated Superintendent of Police Lokesh Kumar.
Medical professionals at PGIMS Rohtak are currently monitoring the injured individuals, who were identified from Charkhi Dadri, Hisar, Bhiwani, Mahendragarh, and Fatehgarh. Police officials confirmed that security measures have been intensified across the city while teams conduct raids to nab the attackers.
