Operation Epic Fury Approaches Final Phase Amid Strike Warnings

President Trump confirms surveillance of nuclear sites and shifts focus to Iranian infrastructure

by TheReportingTimes

Washington, April 2: President Donald Trump warned that the U.S. military will target every electric power plant in Iran if the country refuses to sign a peace deal in the next 21 days. Speaking from Washington, the president confirmed that Operation Epic Fury is nearing the completion of its military objectives but cautioned that the intensity of the strikes will increase significantly in the short term.

The president declared that the U.S. is maintaining constant satellite surveillance over Iran’s enriched uranium stockpiles. He maintained that any movement toward nuclear weaponization would trigger an immediate and severe military response.

“If we see them make a move—even a small move—we will hit them very hard,” Trump stated. He added that the Iranian regime had previously shown no genuine intention of abandoning its nuclear ambitions or its development of long-range ballistic missiles.

Addressing the rising cost of energy, the president attributed the spike in global gas prices to Iranian attacks on commercial tankers. He noted that the U.S. has intentionally avoided striking Iranian oil infrastructure thus far to allow for the possibility of future rebuilding, despite these sites being vulnerable targets.

“The recent rise in gas prices is entirely the result of the Iranian regime launching attacks on commercial oil tankers,” the president affirmed.

On the topic of the Strait of Hormuz, Trump suggested that the responsibility for reopening the shipping lane lies with the nations that rely on it for their energy needs. He stated that opening the waterway is not a current U.S. military priority, as he expects the passage to become accessible again following the conclusion of the war.

The president compared the current operation to previous global conflicts, noting that the intervention is essential for the safety of the United States. He stated that the new leadership appearing in Iran is less radical than the previous regime, whose leaders he affirmed are largely gone.
