LUDHIANA, MAY 21 — The Aam Aadmi Party is positioned to shatter its previous legislative records in the upcoming 2027 assembly elections due to an unprecedented pro-incumbency sentiment throughout Punjab, National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal maintained.
Reviewing party strategies and governance outcomes, Kejriwal noted that the administration under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has successfully completed four years in office while strengthening its public approval rating. The former Delhi chief minister declared that common public consensus favors the present administration’s productivity level over the combined output of previous state governments spanning several decades.
The administrative focus on essential public utilities and direct benefit transfers has transformed the traditional political landscape in the region, according to the party chief.
“It is on record that the Bhagwant Singh Mann Government has delivered more work in four years than what previous governments could do in the last 75 years,” Kejriwal stated.
The party convener detailed ongoing investments across rural sectors, explaining that infrastructural upgrades have been matched by significant social security rollout goals, including the impending distribution of monthly stipends ranging from 1,000 to 1,500 rupees for women under the state’s latest welfare program.
“Development work is underway in every pind and playgrounds are being built in villages to encourage sports and channel the energy of youth in a positive direction,” Kejriwal affirmed. “Women will also soon start receiving ₹1,000-₹1500 under the Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojna.”
Kejriwal stated that visible improvements in state-run schooling systems and medical facilities have altered voter expectations, leaving opposition groups with minimal leverage on substantive policy matters. He asserted that political adversaries have resorted entirely to personalized political rhetoric because they lack viable policy counter-proposals.
“The opposition is left with no public issue except hurling abuses at CM Bhagwant Singh Mann,” Kejriwal stated, adding that voters would eventually penalize alternative factions during the upcoming electoral cycle for failing to address genuine developmental issues.
