Chandigarh, June 25: Punjab has entered a decisive phase of governance and infrastructure advancement over the last four and a half years under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, AAP Chief Spokesperson Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal announced on Wednesday. Speaking to media persons, the MLA reordered the narrative around state development by highlighting the distribution of nearly 68,000 government jobs entirely on merit, the restoration of public school infrastructure, and the widespread delivery of canal water to agricultural fields during the ongoing paddy season.
The legislator declared that the imminent fulfillment of the monthly financial allowance for mothers and sisters next month marks the completion of the administration’s core electoral agenda. He noted that the administrative machinery has finalized the logistics to ensure seamless execution of the scheme.
“From July 1, another major guarantee for the mothers and daughters of Punjab is going to be fulfilled,” Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal stated. “Under this scheme, women from the general category will receive ₹1,000 per month, while women belonging to the Scheduled Caste category will receive ₹1,500 per month.”
The AAP leader also criticized the recent public displays of coordination among opposition members, describing their joint appearances as superficial political theater driven solely by a desire to regain administrative control. He asserted that internal divisions within those parties become apparent the moment their public briefings conclude.
“Congress leaders’ show of unity is pure political theatre,” Dhaliwal maintained. “The moment they leave the room, they start undermining each other.”
The spokesperson concluded the briefing by contrasting the current administration’s public welfare achievements with the historical decisions of past regimes. He declared that traditional parties had consistently compromised the state’s interests regarding its capital city, linguistic boundaries, and river waters, reaffirming that citizens remain focused on the tangible developmental works currently being carried out across Punjab.
