Chandigarh, August 7: Haryana Government reassigned twenty-four senior officials on Friday, encompassing seventeen IAS officers and seven HCS cadre personnel.
The administrative order featured a rapid course adjustment regarding the municipal leadership in Gurugram. IAS officer Pradeep Dahiya was posted back as Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram and District Municipal Commissioner, overriding his transfer to Rohtak issued less than a day earlier.
Several key administrative portfolios were reassigned across major government wings. Rajiv Rattan was appointed Secretary for Personnel, Training and Parliamentary Affairs, alongside responsibilities as Inquiry Officer for Vigilance and Director General of Supplies and Disposals. Pankaj was designated Secretary of the Haryana Public Service Commission and Managing Director of Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited.
Furthermore, Prabhjot Singh was assigned as Transport Commissioner and Secretary for Transport, retaining oversight as Director General and Secretary for Environment, Forests and Wildlife. Senior appointments also included Hema Sharma as Commissioner for Karnal Division, alongside Dr. Aditya Dahiya, who was posted as Director and Special Secretary for Information, Public Relations, Languages and Culture, Director for Art and Cultural Affairs, Managing Director of Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited, and Director for the Department of Future.
State authorities maintained that the reshuffle aims to optimize institutional functioning and accelerate implementation across key infrastructure, administrative, and developmental projects.
