Chandigarh: The Bhagwant Mann Government stands firmly alongside state employees to address genuine administrative matters in a balanced and thoughtful manner, declared Cabinet Minister Aman Arora. Emphasizing that governance relies heavily on the dedication of state personnel, the Minister maintained that constructive engagement offers the best route to address grievances while safeguarding public interest across the state.
Highlighting financial progress, the Minister asserted that concrete measures have already been deployed to align employee benefits with national standards. This includes extending 60% Dearness Allowance to around 85,000 staff members appointed after mid-2020. Addressing larger financial claims and arrears currently under judicial review, the Minister affirmed full trust in the Supreme Court while assuring that internal discussions will continue alongside court procedures.
Reiterating a strong appeal to returning staff, the Minister declared that maintaining daily governance is crucial to serving the people of Punjab smoothly. Recognizing state employees as an essential pillar of progress, the Minister maintained that mutual understanding and collaborative steps will continue to guide the government’s approach toward fulfilling legitimate demands.
