CHANDIGARH, Sept 24: — Tensions rose outside the GMADA premises in Mohali on Thursday as a large gathering of Aam Aadmi Party workers gathered to protest ongoing Enforcement Directorate searches.
Leading the assembly, AAP Punjab Working President Amansher Singh Shery Kalsi stated that central agencies are being systematically deployed to influence the political environment as Punjab approaches its election season. He maintained that similar strategies previously utilized in other states are now being directed at Punjab to hamper state administration. Kalsi asserted that despite lengthy investigations and frequent searches, investigating bodies have yielded no findings against party functionaries.
Addressing party supporters, leaders affirmed that public service and developmental efforts in Punjab will continue uninterrupted. They declared that the party remains steadfast in its organizational resolve, adding that the electorate in Punjab will respond to central agency pressure through the democratic process.
