JALANDHAR, SEPT 30: Union Home Minister Amit Shah asserted that a BJP-led administration will ensure Punjab is completely free of illicit drugs by the end of 2029, speaking during his visit to Jalandhar on Wednesday.

The Union Minister touched down at Adampur Airport before proceeding directly via helicopter to the specially designated helipad at LR Doaba School grounds. Shah offered prayers at the 200-year-old Tripurmalini shrine within the Shri Devi Talab Mandir complex, invoking blessings for the state’s prosperity and the complete eradication of substance addiction.

Party representatives declared that the massive rally marks the formal conclusion of the 13-day ‘Nasha Mukt Punjab Yatra’, which systematically covered every constituency across the state.

Organizers maintained that extensive security and administrative arrangements were executed seamlessly across all venues to accommodate arriving delegates and public attendees for the historic address.
