NEW DELHI, SEPT 30: Leaders of 19 Opposition parties belonging to the INDIA bloc convened in the national capital on Wednesday, announcing a unified campaign demanding structural reforms in election management and transparency in voter rolls.

The alliance further called for complete constituency-wise and booth-wise disclosures regarding voter additions and deletions, simple enrollment procedures for first-time voters, and stricter accountability within the Election Commission.
Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi asserted that the bloc is acting as a collective defender of constitutional values, maintaining that the alliance will systematically take its concerns over electoral integrity directly to the public.
Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee affirmed that the joint agitation will intensify across states, reiterating demands for structural changes in commission leadership. The coalition confirmed that the campaign will begin with protests outside district magistrate offices nationwide, progressing to a parliamentary march and the November 1 mega rally in Delhi.
