Chandigarh, March 29: A second-year student was killed, and four others were seriously injured after a clash broke out behind the stage during Haryanvi singer Masoom Sharma’s show at Punjab University. The deceased, identified as Aditya Thakur from Himachal, succumbed to stab wounds.
According to the police, the fight erupted between two groups during the event, leading to a knife attack. The injured were rushed to the hospital, where Aditya was declared dead. The Sector-11 police station has registered a murder case, and an investigation is underway.
