AAP Links Haryana Firing to Political Pressure

Cabinet Ministers Defend Dosanjh After Alleged Gang Threat

by TheReportingTimes

Chandigarh, May 13: Cabinet ministers in Punjab have accused the BJP of running a “protection racket” to pressure high-profile celebrities into joining their ranks. The allegations follow reports of a firing incident at the Haryana residence of Gurpartap Singh Kang, the manager of singer Diljit Dosanjh. Although the Haryana government has officially disputed the occurrence of the event, the AAP leadership maintained that the incident was a targeted warning.

Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak and other senior leaders affirmed that Punjabis would not be intimidated by such authoritarian methods. They declared that the timing of the event, closely following Dosanjh’s refusal to join the BJP, confirms a political motive behind the alleged gang activity.

“Diljit Dosanjh rejected the BJP offer, so the firing incident took place,” party representatives asserted during a series of statements Tuesday. They noted that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which reportedly claimed responsibility, appears to operate with professional coordination across state lines.

Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema declared that the central government’s handling of gang leaders in Gujarat prisons is directly linked to these threats. He asserted that the BJP is keeping certain individuals “securely shielded” to facilitate the intimidation of those who refuse to bow to their political demands.

The party maintained that the safety of Punjab’s cultural icons is being compromised for political gain. Leaders affirmed that the state would stand united against any efforts to destabilize the region or silence its prominent figures through fear.
