Lucknow, Oct 18: A Kerala woman, Arundhati, has sent a handwritten invitation to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for her upcoming wedding, crediting a lesson from his life for shaping her self-confidence since childhood.

Arundhati and Rahul are scheduled to tie the knot on December 20, 2026, at the Green Park Convention Centre in Aluva, Kerala. Ahead of the ceremony, she addressed a detailed two-page letter to the Chief Minister, inviting him to attend and extend his blessings while expressing her deep sense of gratitude towards him.

During her younger years, Arundhati frequently struggled with inner conflict over her tendency to become emotional, fearing it was a sign of vulnerability. Her perspective shifted after her cousin showed her a video of Yogi Adityanath showing emotion, pointing out that one could be both emotionally sensitive and immensely strong. The moment helped her realise that rising after a setback, moving forward amid challenges, and fulfilling responsibilities represent the true expressions of courage.

In her letter, Arundhati declared that she views the Chief Minister as much more than a leader, considering him an elder brother whose path has consistently provided her with motivation. She maintained that his public life conveys a lasting message of determination and continuous effort, which continues to serve as her foundation during times of self-doubt.

While hoping for his presence on her special day, Arundhati asserted that a simple message of good wishes from him would be priceless if his schedule prevents him from attending the Kerala event in person.
