Court verdict a victory for truth and justice: Aman Arora

AAP leadership calls for accountability after acquittal in liquor policy case

by TheReportingTimes

Chandigarh, Feb 27: AAP Punjab President Aman Arora on Friday affirmed that the acquittal of National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia by the court has exposed a deep-seated conspiracy against the party. Speaking at a media briefing in Chandigarh, Arora stated that the judicial outcome confirms that the truth can be delayed but never entirely suppressed.

The party president asserted that the “so-called liquor scam” was a baseless narrative woven by the BJP-led central government. He maintained that the court’s observations regarding the lack of substance in the CBI’s conspiracy theory highlight the unprecedented nature of the political targeting faced by the AAP. Arora stated that the incarceration of high-ranking leaders for extended periods was a deliberate attempt to crush their political existence and the educational revolution they spearheaded.

“The prosecution theory was nothing more than mere conjecture,” Arora declared, citing the court’s strong observations against the investigating agencies. He affirmed that the legal system has delivered justice and cleared the leaders with honor, effectively ending a period of intense political scrutiny. The AAP leader asserted that the attempt to frame honest leaders has failed miserably in the face of judicial review.

Aman Arora maintained that the Union leadership must take responsibility for the actions of central agencies and seek forgiveness from the public. He asserted that a leader’s greatness is measured by the progress they bring to the nation, not by the suppression of opponents. The AAP President concluded by stating that the party remains committed to its mission of welfare and governance, now bolstered by the court’s validation of their integrity.
