Ludhaina, Sept 28: Ludhiana is set to host ‘Jashan-e-Inquilab’ on September 28 at the PAU ground, bringing together public figures, artists, and families to commemorate the birth legacy of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh while showcasing the vibrant culture of Punjab.
Announcing details during a press interaction, AAP Punjab Media In-charge Baltej Pannu affirmed that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann will lead the celebrations alongside state leaders and thousands of attendees. The cultural line-up includes theatrical performance Gagan Damama Bajio, traditional dhadi music, and popular musical presentations aimed at connecting the younger generation with the history and sacrifices of freedom fighters.
Baltej Pannu declared that the state is reclaiming its distinct identity as ‘Rangla Punjab’, citing high youth engagement in state sports meets and recent marathons, such as the 25,000-strong participation in Bathinda, as a positive shift away from negative stereotypes.
The media in-charge maintained that structural achievements under the present government continue to deliver tangible benefits to citizens. He emphasized significant progress in agricultural water management, expanding healthcare access up to ₹10 lakh per household, zero-bill electricity subsidies, and enhanced road safety measures through dedicated highway patrol forces, affirming the administration’s commitment to holistic state development.
