Amritsar, Oct 5: The findings of a specialized inquiry committee investigating the Sri Anandpur Sahib case will be placed before the public and media at 12 PM on Tuesday.
Addressing the media in Amritsar, SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami stated that the inquiry panel was tasked with examining all documents, facts, and relevant statements within a strict 15-day deadline. The matter pertains to allegations involving former SGPC member Amarjit Singh Chawla, which prompted immediate administrative actions by the committee, including personnel suspensions and accepting Chawla’s resignation.
SGPC officials emphasized that the probe was conducted with complete impartiality to uncover the truth without succumbing to external narratives or social media trial. While a parallel law enforcement investigation is underway in Anandpur Sahib, the SGPC maintains that full transparency regarding its internal findings will help address public concerns and protect the integrity of Sikh institutions.
